100 people got a chance to canoe and kayak down the Flint River during the Flint Riverquarium’s 2nd annual “Flint Float” Sunday afternoon.

Riverquarium CEO Scott Loehr says the event raises awareness of Albany’s most precious natural resource. For $35 or $40, people could take a 2 or 5 mile trip down the Flint River.

They also got admission to the Riverquarium and a barbeque and concert later in the afternoon.
