2 men busted in Dooly County gun theft ring

Authorities bust a south Georgia gun theft ring

Two men are arrested in connection to a major gun theft in Dooly County.

Police say 16 firearms were stolen Monday night. After receiving a tip, the Turner County Sheriff's Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested 27-year-old Robert Self, Jr., and 22-year-old Jonathan Robert Rathburn. Police say they found 13 of the guns on Cleghorn Road in Turner County during the arrest. Both men are facing several charges.
