ALBANY, GA --

Bikers helped break the silence on domestic violence by revving up there motorcycles Thursday Morning.

The Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany hosted their Domestic Violence Awareness Proclamation Ceremony. 73 bikers roared through the base to kick off the ceremony, which was aimed at raising awareness of domestic violence.

"It's so important that we continue to raise awareness for domestic violence, because if we have one domestic situation, that's one to many, because the potential to lose a life is there", said Brenda Ray, the Health and Prevention coordinator for MCLB Albany.

The logistics base offers multiple services for families dealing with domestic violence, for more information on those programs contact Brenda Ray at (229) 639-5252.
