MOULTRIE, GA -- Moultrie Technical College held their annual GOAL luncheon today honoring their teacher and student of the year.

LaToya Posey took home the honor for student of the year, and friends and faculty alike say no one is more deserving.

Posey attends classes in Moultrie, Tifton, and online while working a full time job in Lakeland, GA.

For Posey though, she's just humbled and thankful for the honor.

"It means to me so much more, that I can bring my testimony to other people and encourage them to not give up, and continue to press on," said Posey.

Posey is currently working on her computer networking degree and is looking forward to putting it to good use.
