ALBANY, GA --
Volunteers with Internal Revenue held Money Empowerment Day Saturday.

People in the community could come out and get free help with their income tax.

Thelma Johnson with Internal Revenue says this event is to help people take advantage of their earned income credit that so many people leave on the table every year.

There were also people there to help with making a plan to pay off any debts that a person may owe.
