Officers with the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office say that the 1997 Lincoln Continental driven by Daniel Lee Ovaert has been located in Marion County with a deceased occupant.

Officers believe that the deceased is Daniel Ovaert due to evidence found at the scene. This death investigation is being handled by the Marion County Sheriff's Office.


Initial Story
The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Florida Department of Law enforcement need your help finding a man wanted as a person of interest in the death of 61-year-old Pamela Provenzano.

Authorities say that on January 21st, the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office said they received notification that a deceased female was laying in the a roadway on South West 44 Street in Hamilton County.

The woman was later later identified at Provenzano and passed away as a result of murder.

Officers say that Provenzano may have come to the area to visit her father, 79-year-old Daniel Lee Ovaert.

Investigators now are attempting to locate Ovaert as a person of interest in the case. He was last known to be driving a 1997 Lincoln Continental with a dent on the right rear quarter panel and the Georgia tag of AVZ6464.
