ALBANY, GA --
The Dougherty County Board of Commissioners heard a presentation from the, "Southwest Georgia Workforce: 44" group Monday regarding their impact upon the local community and economy.

The group stated in their presentation that business is demand driven and needs skills, occupations, and assessments. Their goal is to provide those through talent development and informed customer choice.

With two stations in Albany/Dougherty County, the group strives to teach individuals skills they may have never known, or update skills that had become outdated over the years.
