ALBANY, GA -- Elements Coffee welcomed the Red Cross this afternoon from noon to four, in hopes of raising the blood reserves in southwest Georgia.

Elements employee, Justin Eilers, says he's been donating since he was 16-years-old, and encourages folks in the Albany community to get involved, even if it means facing your fears.

"For one pint of blood you save three people from dying, so that's the best one I can say to anyone....it doesn't hurt, it's not comfortable, but it doesn't hurt....it's not that bad," said Eilers.

Eilers has held several blood drives in front of the popular coffee shop and plans to continue these events in the future.
