ALBANY, GA. --
Albany police are asking for the public’s help in locating suspects involved in an armed robbery and snatching on Whisperwood Street Friday night.

Police say the 16-year-old victim was standing in his front yard when an unknow black male approached him demanding money.  After getting the money, the suspect forced him into the trunk of a white Dodge Avenger.  The victim told police that when the car started moving, he was able to get out of the trunk in the 2800 block of Stonewater.

It is unknown how many suspects were inside the getaway car but police say they suspects were armed.

The case is still under investigation, the incident has been classified as an armed robbery and kidnapping.
