ALBANY --
While some businesses are shortening their hours or closing down, Big Rax Saloon is celebrating their one-year anniversary.

Jarrett McIntosh opened the bar one year ago and has not only made it to his first landmark, but has done it with much success. McIntosh says when he planned his business, he tried to make it something the public would want and need.

"We figured there was a good demand with people wanting country music and we just kind of took the risk and hopefully it keeps paying off,” said McIntosh.

McIntosh says he plans to continue his success by introducing larger, regional acts in the next year that will draw out crowds from farther away.
