LEESBURG, GA. -- The Lee County Board of Education is set to announce the name of the second Lee County Middle School on January 14, 2013.
Superintendent Dr. Lawrence T. Walters says he doesn’t anticipate that the new name will be much different from the current name, but he says that’s up to the board to decide.
The middle school is slated to open in August when the old Lee County Elementary School is moved to a new facility.
