ALBANY, GA --
Albany Police Department, Albany Fire Department and EMS responded to an accident that took place near the intersection of Slappey and Palmyra Thursday morning.

Albany police say that 58-year-old Michael Bell was in his 2000 Chrysler Voyager when he pulled out of the driveway of the North Slappey McDonalds into the path of a 1995 Mercury Sable driven by 20-year-old Brandon Whitaker.

Officers say that the Sable bounce off of the van and struck an Albany Beverage truck that was unoccupied at the time.

Bell was cited for failure to yield while entering a roadway.
