ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Recreation and Parks Committee held their annual, "Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt," this morning at Tift Park.

This year's event featured arts & crafts, egg hunts, and of course a visit from the Easter bunny. Albany Police also got into the spirit, helping out with the yearly tradition.

Event coordinator, Kristin Caso explained that the "Eggstravaganza" is a piece of Albany that generations have looked forward to, year after year.

"I have people that I know who say they used to bring their kids, and now their bringing their grand kids! So its been going on for a long time, and it's something that people look forward to year round," said Caso.

After the kids were finished hunting for eggs, the plastic cases were put into a recycling bin to be used again next year when the, "Eggstravaganza," returns.
