ALBANY, GA -- Albany State pro-day has yielded positive football results for some of the former Golden Rams.

NFL scouts from the Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants were on hand to watch a handful of ASU players.

Defensive lineman Justin Blash, running back Nathan Hoyte and receiver Ronnie Tubbs made the best impression. The three players were asked to stay after workouts. According to Blash, the scouts were interested in all three of the Golden Ram players.

Looking to the future holds a lot of excitement but Hoyte has the right approach.

“I'm going to wait till the end. I don't want to get overexcited about how I'm performing...I think I could still do better. Trying to take it one event at a time,” Hoyte said.

Blash’s representation is expecting an NFL call in the sixth or seventh round. The 2013 NFL draft runs from April 25 -27.
