ALBANY, GA --
Lily Pad says they’ll now be able to better serve its 31 counties thanks to a large donation made by 1st Franklin Financial.

After take a tour of the facility and hearing what they do for the community the folk at 1st Franklin decided to donate $40,000 to Lily Pad. A portion of that money will help pay for forensic interviewers, which allows a child, who's victim of sexual assault, to only have to tell their story once.

“It allows them to come to a comprehensive safe environment to tell their story to tell what happen to them and allows us to be their voice in court,” said Cassandra Wright, the Executive Director of Lily Pad.

1st Franklin says they are not only looking to donate money but also time to help Lily Pad continue their work.
