LEESBURG, GA --
On Monday, the Lee County Board of Commissioners officially welcomed interim county administrator Lynn Taylor to the job during a small reception at the T. Page Tharp Governmental Building.

Taylor has come out of retirement to fill the shoes of previous administrator Tony Massey, but has plenty of experience.

Before retiring Taylor served as the county administrator in Sumter County and Board of Commissioners Chairman Rick Muggridge told those at the reception Taylor has a promising track record while at that job.

Taylor says she feels some pressure coming in to the job as an interim candidate but she plans to work closely with the board to oversee the day-to-day dealings within the county and looks forward to working in the area.
