TIFTON, GA -- The Georgia Student Finance Commission met in Tifton this afternoon to aid students with filing their, FAFSA forms for tax season.

Each student that fills out the form has the potential to gain federal money to help them with rising school costs, however most students are unaware of the benefits that this simple form can provide.

"This is a chance for students to have financial aid experts on campus and on hand, to help them with any questions they might have, get the form filled out, and from there all they have to do is wait for the money to come in," said GSFC representative, Carol Ann Lott.

The service was available for all students Saturday at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, and officials say that every student gained from the experience.
