ALBANY, GA --
The Dougherty County Finance Committee met Monday morning to hear a presentation from State Court Chief Judge Victoria Darrisaw on the State Court's budget.

The committee has spent nearly every week of the last three months, hearing presentations on each individual part of their budget.

The State Court presented their budget during the meeting, with commissioners gaining more understanding on how the county's money is being spent inside the court.

Commission members listened to Judge Darrisaw speak on topics from jail occupancy to the price tag for court reporters and appeared satisfied with the numbers presented.
