Albany residents pack, "Old Mount Zion Church" for a night of singing, dancing and acting.

ALBANY, GA -- Old Mount Zion Church filled up this afternoon as folks attended the first, "Every Voice with a Cause," event.
Featuring singing, dancing, and acting the event was put on to raise funds for impoverished countries around the world.
But they had another goal in mind as well, giving those around Albany a reason to come out and enjoy their Sunday evening.
"People around Albany complain that there's nothing to do in Albany, we wanted to start becoming that vehicle for people to find things to do here in the community," said Renaissance Connection co-founder, Bummi Anderson.
With a sellout crowd on hand, the hope is that Renaissance Connection provided for those in Albany, and more importantly, around the globe.
