School openings and closures for Wednesday

Four Southwest Georgia school systems are still keeping their doors shut after the onslaught of rain that plagued Southwest Georgia.

Officials with Atkinson and Colquitt County Schools say that schools will be closed but that faculty members are being asked to report.

Coffee County schools will also be closed, but staff are to report to work if possible. If not, employees are to contact a supervisor.

Mitchell County School System has announced that they will be closed Wednesday to students and staff, but plan to open up on Thursday.
