Finance Committee continues budget series today, hearing from the county magistrate court.

ALBANY, GA -- The Dougherty County Finance Committee met this morning to continue reviewing the county's budget as a whole.
Chief Judge, Baxter Howell approached the committee to outline the Magistrate Court of Dougherty County's budget, and where county funds actually are in use.
Judge Howell also reviewed the different fines, protocols, and benefits that the current court system setup can provide.
Officials with the finance committee described the meeting as, "intriguing and informative," citing it as one of the more detailed presentations they've heard during this series.
