ALBANY, GA -- Albany State University students held the, "Fill-the-Field" food drive Saturday afternoon at the ASU Sanford Gym.

The University's Enactus and Pre-Alumni Association is helping to end hunger in Albany by hosting the event in support of the Food Bank of South Georgia on Saturday.

The Campbell's "Let's Can Hunger Project," sponsored by Campbell Soup Company, mobilizes Enactus USA teams to measure and demonstrate a comprehensive approach to addressing hunger including; organizing and executing food drives for urgent hunger relief and empowering those in need to defeat the cycle of hunger for lasting hunger relief.

Residents from all around Albany brought canned goods and cash donations to the gym in support of the ASU student body, and the "Fill-the-Field" charity.
