ALBANY, GA -- In honor of Valentines Day, Petal Pushers flower shop teamed up with Barbershop Quartet the Shamrocks, to deliver flowers with the added bonus of a singing valentine.

Joe Wingard, David Hogue, Joel Johnson, and Casey Willis are three former marines and an active duty marine who say they want to keep alive the dying art of singing without instruments or synthesizers.

All day Thursday the quartet has been hand delivering love songs to couples like Bob and Kay Adams.

The Adams have been married 51 years but Kay says that Bob never fails to do something romantic every year.

As the quartet sang to Kay, she had to wipe away tears and couldn't contain her excitement from the singing valentine.

Willis says it is seeing things like that and knowing that you made someone's day that makes their day great and will stick with the group.

The men will continue to deliver valentines as the Shamrocks but will also join the SWGA Men's Choir that they are a part of. If it is something you are interested in, they are looking for members and those interested can come out to Darton State College any Thursday at 7 PM to a meeting in room F115.
