ALBANY, GA -- Dads and daughters put their dancing shoes on Saturday for the annual, "Daddy-Daughter Dance" in Lee County.

The 5th-annual dance was put on by the Leesburg United Methodist Church to raise funds for community events, such as feeding local football teams after their game.

Event coordinator, Michelle Hoover says the main reason is to give dads and daughters the chance to bond.

"We get calls all the time from Moms and Daddies about how special this event is, and how it really gives them time to bond.

Three dances were held tonight, with the 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM times selling out.
