LEESBURG, GA -- The 14 and under girls fast pitch softball team, the Extreme Whippets, held a Corn Hole Classic at Backwoods Outdoors in Leesburg on Saturday to raise money for a trip to the World Series.

Gordon Back, the team manager, said his team decided early on that they were going to make it all the way to the World Series in Panama City this year. The only problem is, the trip will cost them nearly 30 thousand dollars.

Back said the team already qualifies, so now their main goal is holding as many fundraisers as possible so they they can make this dream a reality.
