ALBANY, GA --
Albany is now the first city on the Southeast Regional Series bike race thanks to a new partnership.

The SB&T Bike Criterion and Road Race joined the five-state racing series, moving the Albany race from March 2nd and 3rd to May 25th and 26th.

Albany Convention and Visitor's Bureau Director Rashelle Beasley says the partnership with SRS will allow Albany to bring in 300-500 cyclists from all over the southeast, a great way to expand tourism.

Albany is the only city in Georgia included on the list of race towns, which also has Montgomery, Alabama and Knoxville, Tennessee as participating cities.
