59-year-old Jerome Keith was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
 /
Dougherty County Jail
ALBANY, GA -- Albany police investigated three
entering auto
cases Wednesday night, with one affecting the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit.
Officers say that a Chevrolet Tahoe owned by the ADDU had its driver side rear door window smashed in and took a laptop and iPad while parked at Watson, Spenco, & Howe Wednesday evening.
Investigators were able to recover the property when they found 59-year-old Jerome Keith in possession of the stolen items.
Keith was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
Later on that evening, 49-year-old Gail Macnorma and 43-year-old Barbara Tubbs both had their vehicles broken into while they were parked at the PT Gym on Dawson Road.
Officers say that one car had their rear door window busted out while the other did not have their door locked. Both cars had purses taken from them containing medication along with credit and debit cards.
Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau at (229) 431-3288. If you prefer to provide information anonymously, you may call "
Crime Stoppers
” by dialing (229) 436-TIPS.
