ALBANY, GA. --

For the first time this year, local artists gathered to display their artwork for southwest Georgia to see.

Albany's Nights at D'town kicked off at the historic Silvers Building on Washington Street.

The music lineup included Daniel Parrish, Justin Goodson, and the G & S Experience.

Artwork on display ranged from pop art to the classics.

The event was moved from the downtown parking deck because of the cool weather.

Aaron Blair, Albany's Downtown City Manager, says Nights at D'town will be held in the Albany Art Park once upgrades are complete. He says hopefully that will be in March.
