ALBANY, GA --
Lincoln Elementary Magnet School held a career fair Thursday morning for students.

Various members of the community came to the school and talk to students about what they do, where they work, and the education they needed to get where they are.

The Albany Police Department was one organization that talked to students during the fair.

Police Corporal Darrell Laster said it is especially important for the kids to get to know members of law enforcement. They need to know that police officers are their friends, they can trust them, and they shouldn’t be afraid of them.
