ALBANY, GA -- The 33rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. commemorative breakfast sponsored by HEART Organization Inc along with Procter & Gamble was held Monday morning at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

The event is intended to gather the community and promote the need for social harmony by assisting those less fortunate.

HEART Organization's President and CEO, Anne Johnson Millege, said that after the breakfast they want people to go back into the community and give back to help continue King's legacy.

Shoes from the Heart, one of the HEART Organization's programs to help donate new shoes to those in need, received a $2500 donation from Sam's Club at the breakfast.
