ALBANY, GA -- Two local bars had their
alcohol license
denial hearing postponed Wednesday.
Big Daddy’s Lounge and the Sand Trap, both operated by the same licensee, were set to present their case to the Albany City Commissioners as to why they feel their alcohol license should be renewed Wednesday morning. The city of Albany was prepared to rebuttal their argument.
However, with only four commissioners present, all parties involved agreed to postpone the hearing until more are available.
"The more people you have analyzing the evidence the better, because one person can't remember everything," said city attorney Nathan Davis.
Bid Daddy’s Lounge and the Sand Trap will now present their case January 29th, immediately following the
denial hearing
for Legends Lounge and Club.
