Officers say that the victim stated that he was smoking drugs with the suspect and the suspect became upset over the bad quality  the drugs due to a bad high.

ALBANY, GA -- On Tuesday afternoon, Albany police responded to Phoebe East Convenient Care after a stabbing was reported.

Officers say that the victim stated that he was smoking drugs with the suspect and the suspect became upset over the bad quality  the drugs due to a bad high.

The victim then told officers that is when the suspect stabbed him in the back three times.

Officials say that the stab wounds were minor and non-life threatening, with the victim being treated and released.

No further information was released on the status of the suspect.
