ALBANY, GA --

A few paper cuts weren't enough to stop Dougherty County Court Appointed Service Advocates(CASA) from wrapping presents all weekend long.

Volunteers have been at the Albany Mall since Friday wrapping gifts in exchange for a small donation.

CASA plans to use the funds raised to purchase gifts and incentives, for abused and neglected children in foster care.

"If they do good in school, or you know their personality, or attitude is great, then our advocates, when they visit them each month, they will take them an incentive," said Evelyn Cookely, the Program Director of Dougherty County CASA.

Some of the money raised will also be used to help train more advocates, which cost $450.
