When you think of a brand new car, fighting cancer doesn't usually come to mind.

For every new car purchased during the month of October at Toyota of Albany, they donated $100 to the Cancer Coalition.  October is breast cancer awareness month and Toyota of Albany wanted to their part to give back to a local organization.

Tuesday morning, Toyota of Albany presented a $4,400.00 check to the Cancer Coalition.  All that money will stay in the local community.

"Every dollar donated, every penny raised stays here and is used, in this case will be used for cancer screenings for individuals who cannot afford to have that care," said Diane Fletcher, Chief Executive Officer of the Cancer Coalition.

Toyota of Albany has requested Toyota Corporate match their donation to further fight breast cancer in South Georgia.
