ARLINGTON, GA -- Officials in Arlington say a house fire started early Friday morning at the corner of Cedar and Dogwood.

The residents of the home were out of town but the owner was on scene with fire crews that were battling the blaze.

Chief of Police Casey Taylor says the house received extensive damage but thankfully no one was injured.

Taylor has also called the fire marshal in to investigate, though he speculates the fire to be electrical.
