In today's Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know if the police will watch your house.

Police officers will watch your house if it's requested, you just have to call the non-emergency number to get on a watch card.

Each city and town may do things a little differently but an officer will drive by as much as possible. If anything looks suspicious, the officer will alert the residents and take any necessary action.

Sheriff Reggie Rachals says that officers are "glad to offer this service because that's why they're there. They're there to serve and protect, even when you are out of town."
