Worth County Firefighters and EMS responded to a house fire at 123 Cherry Laurel Lane around 7:30 A.M. Thursday morning.

Upon arrival, there were heavy flames coming from the middle of the structure, a double wide trailer.

The fire engulfed two rooms, the living and dining room, and the damage results in a total loss.

The homeowners were in the house at the time of the fire and got out safely. Their two children had just left for school on the bus moments before the fire. No one suffered injuries.

The Red Cross has been called and community support has been tremendous.
