Saturday morning, Runners sprinted into the holiday season in the 25th annual Jingle Bell Jog.

ALBANY. GA --

Saturday morning, Runners sprinted into the holiday season in the 25th annual Jingle Bell Jog.

Over 1,350 people signed up for the ether the 5K or 10K run, or 1 mile walk.

100% of the proceeds will stay local and benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, out of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

"Children’s Miracle network saves more lives than any other children’s charity in the world annually. Our Hospital is 1 of 6 in the state and 1 of 170 in the United States and Canada that can have that accreditation and be a Children’s Miracle network hospital," said Amanda Biery, the Children’s Miracle Network Coordinator.

Today's event rased an estimated $50,000.
