WORTH COUNTY, GA -- An overnight fire in Worth County has left a family of five without a home or necessities.

Worth County Fire Department officials say that they responded to a fire at 1:30 AM Tuesday.

After battling the fire, the home and it's contents were ruled a complete loss with the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Fire officials say the family of five living at the home escaped without injury.

However, local residents such as Crystal Lund are taking donations to help the family out.

"(There's) a 16 year old girl, a 13 year old boy and a 10 year old little girl, so (we need) clothes, tennis shoes, jackets, shirts, pants; I have all the sizes for all the kids, and his wife and his self," said Lund.

There has also been an account set up at Members Credit Union, for monetary donations.

Contact Crystal Lund at (229)869-2463 or at facebook.com/TeamLund if you would like to make a donation.
