ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Police Department and the Albany Fire Department have began a joint investigation into a fire that occurred Tuesday morning on Poplar Street.
Officers say that the victim stated that some unknown person or persons threw a bottle filled with a flammable substance into her son's bedroom and resulted a fire in the apartment.
Three people were inside the apartment when the fire started but all escaped uninjured.
