ALBANY, GA --
In the Facebook Story of the Day, you wanted to know where in Albany you could learn to take CPR classes.

The Flint River chapter of the American Red Cross offers cardio pulmonary resuscitation courses (CPR) for those who want to learn.

Students will be educated on what procedures to use during an emergency whether they are in a home or out in the public.

“Anywhere in the United States you can go to RedCross.org or call 1-800-Red-Cross to find out where the nearest class is for you,” says Nigel Poole, Flint River Chapter Emergency Services Director, “You'll put in some preliminary information and it will find out where the nearest class is and when the soonest class is for you.”

Once enough people are enrolled in the class, the course will be held in Albany on a Saturday.

There is a fee for the training.

Darton College also offers
CPR classes for those interested for college credit through the Health & Physical Education Division.
