ALBANY, GA -- The "Positive Direction Youth Center," held their annual breakfast this morning in hopes of raising funds to give underprivileged kids a great Christmas.

Each year the group has held the breakfast to raise money for, "Christmas in the Park," which allows more than 300 kids to choose a present for themselves.

The event has been going for 9-years now, and program manager, Dorothy Tomlin says each year they continue to grow support from the community.

"We've sold right at 200 breakfasts this morning. Really more than that because there are people who have donated as much as $100 dollars, because they know what type of event we sponsor. And they know the funds go to children," said Tomlin.

To find out how you can donate, visit their youth center at 524 Oak Street in Dawson, GA.
