ALBANY, GA --
Albany police need your help after a Friday morning bank robbery at the SunTrust Bank on Gillionville.
Officers say that around 9:47 AM, an unknown black male walked into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled with an unknown amount of money.
Officials say that the suspect made gestures leading the teller to believe that he was armed, but it is not known what type of weapon was used during the robbery.
Albany police are canvassing the surrounding area, questioning witnesses and collecting evidence.
The suspect is described as black male in a black wind breaker type hoodie and black pants. He is 6'2, weighs about 160 pounds and is believed to be around 25.
