ALBANY, GA. --

Tuesday is not only Election Day but it’s also the first day for the Exchange Club Fair of Southwest Georgia.

Representatives for the fair say in addition to the awesome rides and famous fair food, there are a number of free events for families.

There's the Rockin Egg Ranch petting zoo and a chance to meet "Barney Fife from Mayberry".

“We'll open of course at 5:00 p.m. We'll close at 12:00 a.m. during the week and probably 12:00 p.m.  until 1:00 a.m.  Friday and Saturday night, just depending on what kind of a crowd we got,” said fair manager, Skip Nichols, “As long as the crowd’s here, we'll keep the fair and the carnival  going.”
