ALBANY, GA --
The Albany-Dougherty Payroll Development Authority met Monday to discuss the sale of 3900 Pecan Grove Court. Formerly the home of "Albany Bedding," the building will now be turned over to "Better Brands Beer" who plans to expand the facility.

"Better Brands Beer" has been distributing their products out of Albany for years and were hopeful to continue that trend if a deal could be reached. Monday the Payroll Development Authority approved the sale of the building, which will allow "Better Brands Beer" to add 50 Albany jobs to their payroll.

The building sits on 18.45 acres and is set to be sold for two million dollars. Officials with "Better Brands Beer" say they hope to be settled-in by mid-summer of 2013.
