ALBANY, GA --
Shots rang out in a neighborhood off of Mulberry Avenue in Albany around 8:30 Saturday night.

The Albany Police Department was patrolling the area when they heard the shots and went to investigate.

Witnesses say some men got in a fight before one of them left and came back with friends -- and that was when the shooting began.

"He started just firing and everybody just went to go in different places. There were like 20 shots or something and one of the bullets that was fired hit in the lady across the street right there, Melisa's door, it hit in her back door," said Evelyn Toomer, who ran inside and got on the ground.

According to the report, the APD has named suspects but have not made any arrests and will continue to investigate.
