ALBANY, GA --
In our Facebook Story of the Day, you wanted to know how the crime was on Halloween.

The Albany Police Department says the amount of crime that happened was remarkably low compared to last year's statistics.

APD Crime Analyst Dave Sparks says the drop in crime intrigued him -- but he thinks it was a matter of what day Halloween fell on this year.

"Kids have to go to school the next day so parents are a little bit more vigilant about bringing their children in after a certain amount of time so that they can get ready to go to school the next day. That's really the only thing I can attribute it to," said Sparks.

The few incidents that did occur were minor and no injuries were reported.
