TAMPA, FLA --
According to AAA, gas prices for the Southeastern United States decreased another 12 cents from the previous week.

Despite Hurricane Sandy making her way into the Northeast, gas prices are expected to continue dropping.

Ample supply numbers and contracting demand pushed oil prices to a three-month low last week announced AAA in the release. Other factors in play is weak demand for fuel in the United States and Europe.

"While motorists would expect gas prices to surge with Hurricane Sandy headed for the East Coast, the storm has not yet caused prices to spike," said AAA spokeswoman Jessica Brady in the release. "Despite Sandy, retail gas prices are forecast to fall further this week and the downward trend is expected to continue into the Thanksgiving holiday."
