LEESBURG, GA --
The International Thespian Society has announced via press release that Lee County High School's Thespian troupe #5297 will be participating in the Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat program.

Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat is a national community service program for Thespian Society-member schools to collect non-perishable food items and funds for local food banks.

Theatre students from Lee County High will dress in costumes and make their way round the trick-or-treat. Participants will be collecting food and money donations during the local Trick-or-Treat activities on Halloween for the Food Bank of Southwest Georgia.

LCHS Thespian sponsor Robby Davis says, “I can imagine that having a group of older teens show up at your house for trick-or-treat can be a real Halloween fright, so we’re sending out the word ahead of time. There’s no need to be scared.  These kids will be joining thousands of other Thespians across the nation to combat local hunger. They’re hoping for your help.” The Lee County students have already visited many neighborhoods in the area to ask donors in advance to get their contributions ready for Halloween night.

For more information on the drive, contact the Lee County Thespians at theatrelchs@lee.k12.ga.us or 229.903.2297.
