ALBANY,GA --
A bicyclist was struck by a car at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Turner Field Road Saturday night.

It happened around 5:20.

52-year-old Jarvis Tift was riding his bike south on Turner Field Road.

24-year-old Andrea Jones was traveling west on Clark Avenue in a1990 Chevy truck.

Jones had a green light to travel through the intersection and witnesses say Tift came off Turner Field Road and was hit by Jones after she tried swerving to miss him.

No word yet on if any charges have been filed.

Tift was taken to Phoebe Putney Hospital and we are waiting to hear of his condition.
